Ever fancied being a zookeeper? Well here's your chance to become a zookeeper for the day! It's a unique chance to get close to loads of rare animals and care for them like a real zookeeper. So what are the animals? that's the important bit isn't it. After all, you wouldn't want to be a zookeeper in a zoo that was just full of horrible dogs and stuff would you?

We've found 2 similar experiences at different zoos, and our favourite is in Kent, through Virgin Exeriences, because of all the unusual animals they have there.

If you prefer an experience in Hertfordshire, we can also reccommend the experience through the Activity Superstore, and it's £20 cheaper!

Well here's a list of just some of the animals in the Kent experience zoo:

Ocelots, Sun Bears, Leopards, Lemurs, Saki Monkeys.......You want more? How about:
Anteaters, Dwarf crocodiles, Malayan Tapirs, Flamingos. In fact they've got all sorts, because the centre is part of the Rare Species Conservation Trust, dedicated to preserving the worlds lesser known endangered species. Here's a list of all the animals they have, from wikipedia

In the morning you'll be feeding the animals (after a safety briefing of course!), before lunch. In the afternoon you'll be involved with other things like helping to clean out the animals and maybe getting up close with some of the animals!

You'll be the only participant on this amazing animal experience so it's a unique opportunity to get close to some brilliant creatures.
